One of the great pleasures of Mediterranean dining is finding the right wine to complement your food. At Artysansz Bistro & Bar, our wine list has been carefully selected to pair beautifully with our tapas menu — and thanks to our Coravin system, you can enjoy premium wines by the glass without committing to a full bottle.

What Is Coravin?

Coravin is a wine preservation system that allows us to pour from a bottle without pulling the cork. This means we can offer exceptional wines by the glass that would normally only be available by the bottle. It's perfect for trying something special or sampling a few different wines across your meal.

Pairing Guide: White Wines

White wines are a natural match for lighter tapas and seafood dishes:

  • Gambas Al Ajillo (garlic prawns) — Pair with a crisp Albarino from Galicia. Its citrus notes and minerality cut through the garlic butter beautifully.

  • Pan Con Tomate (tomato bread) — Try a dry Verdejo. Its fresh, herbal character complements the simplicity of ripe tomatoes and olive oil.

  • Calamari — A chilled Pinot Grigio keeps things light and lets the crispy coating shine.
  • Pairing Guide: Rose Wines

Rose is arguably the most versatile wine for tapas, bridging the gap between white and red:

  • Patatas Bravas — A Provencal-style rose with its dry, strawberry notes pairs wonderfully with the spicy tomato sauce and creamy aioli.

  • Mixed Tapas Spread — When your table is sharing a variety of dishes, rose is your safest and most delicious bet. It's friendly enough to complement everything from cheese to chorizo.
  • Pairing Guide: Red Wines

  • Croquetas De Jamon (ham croquettes) — A young Tempranillo from Rioja. Its cherry fruit and soft tannins are a classic match for Iberian ham.

  • Chorizo Al Vino — Garnacha from Aragon. The wine's spicy, dark berry character mirrors the smoky heat of the chorizo.

  • Lamb Kofta — A medium-bodied Malbec. Its plum and dark chocolate notes complement the spiced lamb perfectly.
  • Our Recommendations

Not sure where to start? Our staff are always happy to suggest wines based on what you're ordering. We also offer a selection of wines by the 125ml or 175ml glass, so you can try a few different options throughout your meal without overcommitting.
